This website is dedicated to everyone who has ever had a question, considered getting a piercing, wanted to learn how to pierce, or felt what it was like to be the concerned (perhaps bewildered) parent of a child venturing into this "oh so strange" activity.

There is so much information out there to sift through, some of which - in my humble opinion - is incorrect, or in rare cases - plain dangerous. What I have provided here is "the piercing world according to me". It is based on the years I spent running The Piercing Urge studio, and is a combination of what I, and all my staff, have learnt during that time - through practical experience.

It is my hope that this information will become a valuable resource for you, regardless of what your interest in this special industry is.
